A Glorious Weekend...

What a glorious weekend!

Today I did the 6x8 color study. That night I ghosted in a light wash of the basic drawing and underlying color masses on a 16x20 from the pochade so I'd be ready for the early light of the next morning. Sunday, my subjects came up to the road and posed for me for 90 minutes until the farmer brought breakfast! Today I was back out, at the same time, to add the last few cows and double check the position of the early sun on all the elements.
