Natalia painting goats on the rugged hillside

I'm in San Angelo, Texas this week for the EnPleinAir Texas Painting Competition.

The Texan landscape has such a stark rugged beauty. While Natalia and these goats were on the hillside, the story is really about the subtle elegance of the rocks and vegetation in the late afternoon sun (hence my choice of composition).
