History Whispers at Miss Hattie's

A painting from this week at the EnPleinAir Texas Painting Competition in San Angelo, Texas.

This building holds an intriguing part of San Angelo's heritage. It was a bank attached to a fairly famous bordello (Miss Hattie's) through an underground walkway.

Its character and textures were especially gorgeous in the morning light.
