In “Splendor in the Grass”, I was inspired by everything motherhood means. This massive, beautiful creature exemplifies the extremes of both power and tenderness.

This painting has been accepted by the Oil Painters of America for their 25th Annual National Juried Exhibition of Traditional Oils.  The show will be held at Southwest Gallery in Dallas, TX from May 13- June 15, 2015.
