Gooseberry Falls on the North Shore of Lake Superior is a sight to behold, particularly after heavy rains. One cannot witness a morning like this...fog lifting into the breaking sun... without wondering who else stood in awe on these very rocks. At different times, the Cree, the Dakota, and the Ojibwe lived here. As early as 1670, the Gooseberry River appeared on explorer maps. 

Shared human experiences have a way of transcending time.
