The North Shore Beckons

I have painted several sunrises from this pristine Kauai cliff.  It is a subject that calls to my heart!

This studio piece, created from those sketches and my memories, allowed me to further explore the soulful music that washes over me when I witness such beauty.

Linking land with sea, the eternal rhythm of the waves against the shoreline feels primal, calming, and transformative. The uplifting, expansive sky directs us towards that which is greater than ourselves.
